MACSTARS 2000

The Macstars program, version 2000, has been developed to check the stability of reinforced soils, that is structures which provide the slope stability using reinforcing units that are able to absorb the tensile stress. Furthermore this program allows the user to conduct the stability checks using the Limit Equilibrium Method even considering unreinforced slopes.

The type of check to carry out in relation to the soil potential failure mechanisms, the behaviour of the reinforcing units, the type of loads to be considered, are fundamental aspects.
