GAWAC WIN 1.0

The GawacWin 1.0 Program is a system of analysis in gabions retaining walls under several situations. It is a powerful tool to help the designer on restrain structures. The applied methods on designs are regarding to the "Limit equilibrium" to the theories of Rankine, Coulomb, Meyerhof, Hansen and Bishop (optmized thorugh the Simplex Minimizer Algorithim) to verify the global stableness of soil/structure as a whole.

 

Gabions mechanical characteristics, manufactured by MACCAFERRI Group are taken under consideration by the program, the calculation results and analysis won't be realistic in case of using other types of materials.
